Is this bag recyclable?

Yes! The body of the bag is made from Tyvek®, a material that is not only 100% recyclable but a key part of the circular plastic economy. To recycle: remove the zipper and strap and place the material in your recycle bin. Remember, our Pump Parts Bag has multiple uses.

Is this hand or machine washable?

Both! Hand washing (preferred method) your bag inside out with warm soapy water and hang to dry. Machine wash your bag inside out, wash on delicate cycle, and hang to dry (No dryer or bleach). At the office clean up: when you do not have access to soap and water, wipe the inside and outside with disinfectant wipes as needed.

What is the breast pump parts hack and when could I use it?

a. Pumping moms are posting images across social media channels and talking about storing their flanges and storage containers in the refrigerator in a plastic gallon size “Ziploc” type bag instead of washing them between uses. The CDC states, “If you cannot clean your pump parts thoroughly after each pumping session, you can rinse and then refrigerate pump parts for a few hours between uses to help slow the growth of bacteria.
